Accommodation

As Dresden will be very crowded during the Congress period, a large number of rooms in different categories of hotels have been booked at attractive rates. Nearly all hotels are located in the city centre as this is more convenient for transport, shopping, sightseeing and dining. Participants can use their free local transport pass for travelling between the city centre and the congress venue. For locations of the hotels please refer to the map. Local transport – busses, trams and trains – operates from most of the congress hotels to the Congress Venue. To secure the accommodation of your choice, you should register as early as possible. Prices quoted are per room per night and include accommodation, buffet breakfast, hotel service charge and VAT (Value Added Tax). All reservations, especially after February 1, 2010, will be subject to availability. All cancellations and changes to reservations should be made in writing by e-mail, telefax. Hotel bookings should be made through the online registration in order to benefit from the special rates.

General Conditions

As soon as the registration has been received, all reservations will be completed based on request but subject to availability. Confirmation of hotel accommodation will be included in the letter confirming the participation for the congress. Participants are requested to pay their personal expenses directly to the hotel at latest when checking out. Please indicate if arrival at the hotel is scheduled after 06:00 so the Congress Secretariat can inform the hotel about your late arrival. Please note that all room reservations will be made on a „first come, first served“ basis and all reservations will be subject to availability.
