Oral presentation
Oral sessions will consist of plenary lectures, invited and contributed talks. Most plenary lectures will last 90 minutes (no discussion)- exception is the J Joseph Hoet Memorial Lecture 1:15 hr; invited talks 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion, each contributed talk will last 10 minutes with a general discussion session at the end of all contributed presentations.
All presentations will be in English. In each room a computer (Windows-based) with beamer will be available. All speakers are requested to turn in their presentation 3 hours before their presentation at the “Speaker’s Preview Room” (Seminar room 1, S1) on the Seminar Level of the conference venue. From there the presentation will be distributed via network into the appropriate meeting room.
In exceptional cases you can use your own notebook. If this is the case, please contact the room attendant and check that all needed material for the presentation is available. In particular, speakers who are in need of a beamer are asked to check with the room attendant that the connection of their laptops is compatible with the beamer.
Poster Presentation
The poster session will take place at the Terrace level of the Congress Centre. Standard poster panels will be available with sizes of 100 cm in width and 140 cm in height. For assistance and adhesive material, please contact the Registration Desk. All posters will be numbered as given in the final programme. Please fix your poster on the poster panel marked with your poster number. Please use only the provided adhesive material.
Mounting of posters starts on Thursday afternoon, April 8. On Friday April 9, each poster should be in place. The poster should be taken away on Sunday, April 11 at lunch-time. The organizers will not be responsible for posters which are not taken from the panels on Sunday April 11 after 14:00 hrs.
There will be an award for the best poster. It will be selected by a jury and the winner will be announced at the closing ceremony on Sunday, April 11.
